Field Supervisor – Home Care - £13.60 per hour weekdays £15.60 weekends
20 hours fixed Contract with the potential to work more if desired
Your Role as a Field Care Supervisor
The position will see the successful applicant join our existing care supervisory team who together, jointly cover and oversee the provision of care throughout the Cheltenham and North Cotswolds areas.
Candidates with previous domiciliary care experience are preferred - those with NVQ3 (or equivalent) or higher qualifications are particularly desirable, although this is not essential for the post if you are experienced in the care sector. However, candidates must have a full UK driving licence and be locally based or within a reasonable commuting distance.
Our Field Care Supervisors, provide support to our care staff, ensure new starters are supported out on shadow shifts, carry out spot checks on staff, write and review care plans, liaise with the families of clients, participate with the on-call - one in four weekends and support the care coordinator in any duties required, supporting the management team with auditing and compliance, cover care calls as part of your rota or when sickness and holiday cover is required.
This role will involve using IT systems (for which full training will be provided).
Organisational skills and naturally outgoing are highly desired.
The successful Care Field Supervisor will be someone who can act as a good role model for carers, providing motivation whilst also overseeing the quality of care provided.
Profile:
Fluent English (both written and spoken)
Intermediate level or above Microsoft Office skills, including Word and Excel
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Good team player
Excellent telephone manner
Good attention to detail

What we can offer you
Four week working pattern:
Week 1
Weekdays - Hybrid role of office and out in the field as emergency backup, assist training, sitting in and assist with job interviews mentor staff, assist with care plans spot checks and community calls if needed
Weekend - Off
Week 2
Weekday - Off
Weekend On-call - Friday 17.00 - Monday 08.00 - home based (May have to cover calls in an emergency over the weekend if no cover can be found)
Week 3
Weekday - You will be out in the community 4/5 days providing services to clients in their homes
Weekend - Off
Week 4
Weekday - You will be out in the community providing services to clients in their homes with 2 days off. You may also be out supporting staff.
Weekend - You will be out in the community providing services to clients in their homes or be out supporting staff.

What we can offer you
· 20 hours per week, fixed contract £13.60 - £15.60 per hour, plus mileage on all calls - there could be scope to do more hours if required.
Working Pattern
We operate on a four-week working pattern.
You will have 2 weekends off out of every 4.
You will be required to cover on-call duties for 1 weekend in every 4.
The role involves a mix of clients calls, office-based work, and on-call responsibilities and you will be working with 3 other FCS.
